Your First Visit to Kairos Chiropractic &

What to Expect

We know that trying something new—especially when it involves your health or your child’s health—can feel a little nerve-wracking.

That’s why we’ve designed every part of your first visit to be welcoming, thorough, and completely transparent. No surprises. No pressure. Just a genuine conversation about where you are, where you want to be, and how we can help you get there.

Whether you’re an expecting mom, a parent bringing in your little one for the first time, or an adult ready to take a different approach to your health, here’s exactly what your first visit looks like.

Your First Appointment

Your initial visit at Kairos is unlike anything you’ve experienced at a typical doctor’s office.

We take the time to truly understand your health history, listen to your concerns, and gather objective data about how your body is functioning—before we ever make a recommendation.

Plan for approximately 45 to 60 minutes for your first appointment.

Step 1: Welcome and Health History

When you arrive at our downtown Middleton office, you’ll immediately notice that it doesn’t feel like a clinic. It feels warm, inviting, and calm. We’ll start with a one-on-one conversation where Dr. Jordan gets to know you—your health history, your concerns, your goals, and what brought you to Kairos. For pediatric patients, we’ll also discuss birth history, developmental milestones, and any specific challenges your child is facing.

Step 2: Comprehensive Neurological Examination

This is where Kairos is different. Using advanced, non-invasive neurological scanning technology, Dr. Jordan will assess how your nervous system is functioning. These scans are completely painless and safe for patients of all ages—including newborns and pregnant women. The scans measure how well your brain and body are communicating, where stress and interference may be showing up, and how your body is adapting to the demands of daily life.

Step 3: Review Your Results

Dr. Jordan will walk you through your scan results in clear, easy-to-understand terms. You’ll see your data on screen and understand exactly what it means for your health. No jargon. No confusion. Just honest information that empowers you to make an informed decision about your care.

Step 4: Your Personalized Receommendation

Based on your health history and scan results, Dr. Jordan will share her honest recommendation. If chiropractic care is right for you, she’ll outline a personalized care plan with a clear timeline and measurable goals. If she believes another provider or approach would serve you better, she’ll tell you that too. Our only goal is to help you make the best decision for your family.

Your Care Plan

If you choose to move forward with care, your plan is built entirely around your unique needs and scan data—not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Dr. Jordan will schedule follow-up scans at regular intervals throughout your care so you can track measurable progress over time.

Most patients notice positive changes within the first few weeks, though the timeline depends on your individual situation, health history, and goals. Chiropractic care at Kairos is designed to be corrective and sustainable.

Pricing & Payment

We believe in full transparency when it comes to cost. Dr. Jordan will discuss pricing with you during your first visit so there are never any surprises.

Insurance:

Kairos Chiropractic is an out-of-network provider with most insurance plans. We provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many of our patients receive partial or full reimbursement depending on their plan.

Payment Options:

We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA accounts. Payment is due at the time of service.

Family Plans:

Because we serve entire families, we offer family care plans that make ongoing care accessible and affordable. Ask Dr. Jordan about family pricing during your first visit.

How to Prepare for Your Visit

Arriving prepared helps us make the most of your time together. Here are a few simple things to do before your appointment:

Complete your intake forms online.

After booking, you’ll receive intake forms via email through our Jane App scheduling system. Completing these ahead of time saves you time at the office and gives Dr. Jordan a head start on understanding your health history.

Wear comfortable clothing.

You’ll remain fully clothed throughout your visit. Comfortable, flexible clothing works best for the examination and any adjustments.

Bring your questions.

There are no silly questions. Write down anything you’re curious about—Dr. Jordan loves when patients come prepared and engaged.

Arrive 5–10 minutes early.

This gives you time to settle in, fill out any remaining paperwork, and take a breath before your appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long is the first visit?

A: Plan for approximately 45 to 60 minutes for your initial appointment. This includes your health history conversation, neurological scans, a review of your results, and Dr. Jordan’s personalized recommendation. Follow-up visits are typically much shorter, around 15 to 20 minutes.

Q: What should I bring to my first appointment?

A: If you’ve completed your intake forms online, just bring yourself and any questions you have. If you haven’t completed the forms yet, please arrive 10–15 minutes early to fill them out.

Q: Do you offer a new patient special?

A: We offer competitive pricing for new patient consultations, and Dr. Jordan will review all costs with you transparently during your first visit. Contact us directly or check our website for any current new patient offers.

Q: Can I bring my kids to my appointment?

A: Absolutely. Our office is family-friendly and designed with little ones in mind. Many of our patients bring their children along—and the kids love it. If your child isn’t being seen that day, they’re welcome to play in our waiting area while you receive care.
